Project Overview:
This custom mobile WordPress theme project was complex and required a specialty/custom skinning approach with a solid understanding of a mobile responsive front-end framework. With the project requiring a different design look for each company within one website it became important to be able to manage multi template interactions when navigating to a particular company page. There were several challenges on this project that required custom rewiring. The mobile menu was quite long and difficult to manage due to the number of menu items within. We ended up completely reworking the menu to become an off-canvas menu with nested sub menu items. It worked more intuitively and the client loves it.
The other challenge on this custom WordPress theme was the required interactions between template cities and their associated blog posts. Some posts had to display on one city but not another. Not only that, but the client required full admin access to all regions of the website such that they could manage the content content look and feel without the help of a technical group such as ourselves.
