Project Summary:
The client requested that we build a WordPress plugin that would allow automated nightly deletion of unwanted real estate images within several different image repositories. Essentially an existing system would check for the existence of duplicate images using an API and create a data structure with the MySQL database of updated images. The plugin, prompted by the WordPress API, would then iterate through several folder sets and compare the existing image repositories with the the data structures and remove duplicates based on filename. There was also a settings interface within the admin to allow an admin to manage which folder sets the plugin should process.
