In a concerted effort to help promote Irish culture, heritage and social well-being in Utah, Basebuild has begun working in association with the Hibernian society to develop a Utah based Irish social and business network (Irish in Utah). The sole purpose of the Irish in Utah community is to provide an environment in which Irish community members can support one another by facilitating social and business interactions. It is our intention to achieve this by doing the following:
- Creating monthly social environments that allow members to get to know one another on a personal, one on one level.
- Creating monthly business focused meetings where members have opportunities to present and discuss business topics.
- Creating online member directories, discussion forums and business opportunities for members.
The only requirement for involvement in the Irish in Utah activities is at minimum a strong desire to promote and support Irish culture and heritage.
