Case Study: WordPress for Neocate.com

Client Overview: https://www.neocate.com

WordPress for Neocate.com

We created an e-commerce–like experience for Neocate, designing a clean, intuitive product catalog that helps parents and caregivers quickly find the right medical nutrition products. Although the final checkout is powered externally through Kentico, our work focused on building a seamless discovery and purchase journey within the WordPress framework. Users can easily browse formulas, view product details, and move naturally toward trusted purchase options — all while feeling like they’re shopping within a unified, professional storefront. By bridging content, catalog, and commerce in a medically sensitive environment, we helped Neocate deliver a modern, trustworthy customer experience that supports both education and conversion.

The Challenge

Balancing Commerce with Medical Sensitivity: Neocate needed a storefront that felt like e-commerce but still maintained the tone and trustworthiness expected in a healthcare setting.

Complex Audience Needs: The site had to serve two distinct user types—parents/caregivers looking for guidance and professionals needing clinical information—without overwhelming either group.

Fragmented Purchase Flow: Although checkout occurred externally via Kentico, users still needed to feel like they were shopping within a single, seamless experience.

Difficult Product Discovery: With multiple specialized formulas, the old site lacked intuitive navigation or filtering, making it harder for families to quickly identify the right products.

Our Solution

Built a Unified, WordPress-Based Shopping Experience: We created a clean, modern product catalog that mimicked e-commerce flows while staying within the WordPress ecosystem.

Clear Separation of Consumer and Clinical Content: The site structure was reworked to provide tailored pathways for caregivers and medical professionals, reducing confusion and content overlap.

Smooth Transition to External Checkout: Although final purchases happen off-site, we designed the flow to feel uninterrupted, keeping users confident and informed throughout the handoff.

Optimized Navigation and Product Pages: We introduced structured product detail pages, visual cues, and simplified menus to help users discover products faster and with less friction.

Tech Stack:

The Neocate e‑commerce experience is built on WordPress for flexible content and catalog management, with an external Kentico‑powered checkout, and integrated strategies to deliver seamless product browsing and content‑driven UX. For more information please contact Dave.
